Sweet Puris Ingredients
- Refined flour 1 cup sieved
- Almonds 50 grams chopped
- Pistachio 50 grams chopped
- Coconut grated 1 cup
- Sugar 1 cup
- Castor sugar ½ cup
- Coconut milk powder ½ cup
- Currants 50 grams
- Baking soda ¼ tsp
- Salt 1 pinch
- Oil 4 tbsp + for frying
- Water as required
Sweet Puris Cooking Directions

Mix flour, salt, soda, 2 tbsp oil and water and knead into dough.

Cover and set aside for ½ an hour.

Cook 2 tbsp oil, desiccated coconut, sugar, coconut milk powder, currants, almonds, pistachios and castor sugar in a pot for few minutes and remove from flame.

Make small balls of dough, roll them out.

Place 1 tbsp of prepared mixture in the middle of each, fold over from all sides into pouches.

Heat oil in a pot, fry sweet puriyan till golden, remove on absorbent paper.
