Shashlik is a Mangolian dish,which was as popular in Russia as it was in Mongolia. During the era of Genghis khan, the Mongols used to roast meat pieces mixed with vegetables.From Mongolia ,this dish reached China, Russia and other countries.
Chicken Shashlik Ingredients
- Chicken 300 gm
- Capsicum 2
- Onion 1
- Tomatoes 2
- Corn flour 1 tbsp
- Garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
- Chilli garlic sauce 2 tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp
- Ground red chilli 1 tbsp
- Black pepper 1/4 tsp
- White pepper 1/4 tsp
- Salt as required
- Oil as required
Chicken Shashlik Cooking Directions

Cut chicken into medium size cubes.

Also cut capsicum, onion, tomatoes into medium size pieces.

Add garlic paste, sauces spices and oil to it.

Thread chicken pieces, capsicum, onion cubes and a tomato piece onto soaked skewer.

Heat oil in a pan and saute these sticks until tender.
