Tomato Dip is a Classic hot and sour tomato dip recipe. My family loves it with samosas and patties.
Tomato Dip Ingredients
- Sliced tomatoes 1/2 kg
- Oil 1 cup
- Whole red chilies 4
- Lemons 4
- Fenugreek seeds 6
- Green chilies 8
- Curry leaves 8
- Garlic 10 cloves
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Onion seeds 1 tsp
- White cumin 1 tsp
- Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Tomato Dip Cooking Directions

In a bowl, mix sliced tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili flakes, garlic, white cumin, 8 curry leaves, green chilies, salt to taste, onion seeds and mustard seeds.

In a wok, sauté whole red chilies, fenugreek seeds and few curry leaves in oil.

Now add tomatoes and stir fry until water dries up.

Then add juice of four lemons and mix.

Tomato Dip is ready.
