These chocolate orange cookies will be a delight for any child or grown-up!
Chocolate Orange Cookies Ingredients
- Butter(softened) 1/3 cup
- Superfine sugar 1/3 cup
- Egg 1
- Milk 1 tbsp
- All purpose flour 2 cups
- Unsweetened cocoa 1/4 cup
- Frosting:
- Confectioners sugar(sifted) 1 cup
- Orange juice 3 tbsp
- Dark chocolate(melted) a little
Chocolate Orange Cookies Cooking Directions

Line 2 cookie sheets with baking parchment.

Beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat the egg and milk into the mixture until well combined.

Sift together the flour and unsweetened cocoa and gradually mix together to form a soft dough.

Use your fingers to incroporate the last of the flour and bring the dough together.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until 1/4 inch thick.

Using 2 inch fluted round cutter, cut out as many cookies as you can.

Re-roll the dough trimmings and cut out more cookies.

Place the cookies on the prepared cookie sheet, spaced apart, and bake in a preheated oven at 350F for 10-12 minutes, or until golden.

Cool the cookies on the cookie sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

To make the frosting place the confectioners sugar in a bowl and stir in enough orange juice to form a thin frosting that will coat the back of a spoon.

Spread the frosting over the cookies and let set.

Drizzle with melted chocolate.

Allow the chocolate to set before serving.
