Afghani Mutton Shorba - This Afghani shorba, is a stew, where mutton is cooked and flavoured with simple spices to create an aromatic and tasty shorba, where you will enjoy dunking pieces of chapati (roti) in and eating it.
Afghani Mutton Shorba Ingredients
- Meat (Mutton) 1 kg (whole piece Boiled)
- Onion 2
- Black Pepper 1 tsp
- Green Cardamom 4
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Green Chillies 6
- Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- All Spice Powder ½ tsp
- Chicken Stock 2 cups
- Oil 4 tbsp
Afghani Mutton Shorba Cooking Directions

Boil 1 kg of meat with 4 glass of water on low flame for 2 hour.

When meat is tender and water is half, turn the flame off.

Heat oil in another pan and add onions finely chopped.

Fry onion and take it out of pan.

Crush fried onion with green cardamom and cumin.

Add this mixture in pan along with turmeric powder, black pepper, ginger garlic paste, and 1/2 tsp salt and fry.

Now add in meat and fry well.

Add 2 glass of chicken stock and green chilies.

Cook for 1/2 hour.

Lastly add of all spice powder.
