Kadhi - Kadhi is a is a popular Gujarati curry. Usually Kadhi is made of curd and gram lentils. This is the recipe of Kadhi made with gram lentils, pigeon peas and rice.
Kadhi Ingredients
- Sour buttermilk 1/2 kg
- Green chilles 4
- Cumin seeds 1/2
- Pigeon peas (Tur dal) 1/2 tbsp
- Gram lentils 1 tbsp
- Rice 1/2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
- Ground coconut a little
- Curry leaves as required
- Green coriander as required
- Salt to taste
- Whole red chillies 2
Kadhi Cooking Directions

Soak lentils and rice for 1-2 hours.

Grind all of them fine along with coconut.

Add the butter milk and boil till thick. Add salt.

Add fried mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chillies and curry leaves.

Sprinkle chopped green coriander for flavour.
