Rajmah is cooked curry of Red kidney beans. Red kidney beans are cooked in seasoning and spices till smooth and then touched with cream and green coriander.
Rajmah (Type-I) Ingredients
- Rajmah 1/2 kg
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Chilli powder 1 tsp
- Onions 2
- Tomatoes 2
- Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
- All spice 1 tsp
- Cloves of garlic 10
- Ginger 1" piece
- Cream 1/2 cup
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves as required
- Ghee as needed
Rajmah (Type-I) Cooking Directions

Put cleaned, soaked rajmah with water in a pressure cooker.

Add chopped onion, tomatoes, garlic and ginger.

Also add ghee and all spices. Cook till smooth and done.

Remove and cook on a low flame for 10 minutes.

Stir in cream and garnish with coriander.
