Semi-sweet chocolate (chopped) 1 cup
Dates (pitted) 20 - 25
Almonds, walnuts or pistachios (chopped) 1 cup
Coconut flakes 1/4 cup (optional)
Skewer (optional)
Butter paper
Rich Chocolate Dates Cooking Directions
First, line a large baking sheet with butter paper.
Melt chocolate in microwave safe bowl for about 3 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time.
Stuff each date with the nut of your choice.
Using a skewer, dip each date in chocolate.
After dipping your dates in chocolate.
Allow the excess chocolate to fall off by carefully rotating the skewer.
Place dipped date on butter paper and sprinkle with coconut flakes.
Repeat with remaining dates.
Allow dates to set in the refrigerator for about 30-45 minutes before serving.
