Chocolate Mint Ice Cream - The refreshing flavor of mint gives chocolate dessert a one of a kind menthol choco flavor. Crushed chocolate cookies are added to minty ice cream base to prepare this delicious frozen dessert. For best results read KhanaPakana's article "How to Make Ice Cream by Hand".
Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Ingredients
- Evaporated milk chilled 1/2 tin
- Condensed milk 1/2 tin
- Eggs white 2
- Mint essence 1 tsp
- Fresh cream whipped 1, 1/2 cup
- Icing sugar 1 ounce
- Chocolate cookies coarsely chopped 1/2 cup
- Green food color few drops
Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Cooking Directions
Crush cookies coarsely, chill until require to use.
In a bowl beat chilled evaporated milk till thick and fluffy.
Add in condensed milk.
In another bowl beat egg whites with icing sugar until stiff.
Now add in mint essence.
Now fold this egg white mixture to the whipped milk mixture.
Whip up cream and mix in few drops of green food color.
Fold it into the above mixture.
Pour mixture into an air tight container.
Freeze till nearly set, remove and fold in the crushed cookies, again freeze till firm.
