Tamarind Chili Mutton Curry - Very tasty mutton curry made by marinating mutton into different spices and then cooking it by adding stock and coconut milk that makes it more rich and yummier. Serve hot with chapatti or naan and enjoy.Try this recipe by Chef Nadeem and collect praises.
Tamarind Chili Mutton Curry Ingredients
- Mutton 1 kg
- Green cardamom 3
- Onion paste 1 cup
- Coconut milk 1/2 cup
- Mutton stock 200 ml
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Red chili 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper 1/2 tsp
- Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
- Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Tamarind pulp 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander to garnish
Tamarind Chili Mutton Curry Cooking Directions

In a bowl combine red chili, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, coriander powder, tamarind, mutton and mix well.

Leave to marinate for 2 to 4 hours.

Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion and ginger garlic paste.

Add mutton to it and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

Add stock and cook on high flame.

Then add coconut milk and cardamom powder and let it cook.

When water gets dry and oil appears on top, add fresh coriander and cook for a while.

When ready, dish out and serve hot.
