Tuna Sandwich

A fancy sandwich recipe for your dearest ones or fancy guests. A slice of whole grain bread topped with freshly prepared mayonnaise sauce, topped with seasoned grilled tuna stake, topped with freshly prepared green salad. Enjoy with a glass of grape juice.
Tuna Sandwich Ingredients
- Tuna steaks, about 3-4 ounces each 4
- Juice of 1 lime
- Fresh basil chopped 2 tbsp
- Low fat mayonnaise 2 tbsp
- Low fat plain yogurt 2 tbsp
- Grated zest of 1 lime
- Fresh torn salad 4 cup
- Greens or spinach
- Balsamic vinegar 2 tbsp
- Olive oil 1 tbsp
- Honey 1 tsp
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Whole grain bread 4 slices
Tuna Sandwich Cooking Directions

Place tuna in resealable plastic food bag.

Drizzle with lime juice and sprinkle with 1 tbsp basil.

Seal bag and allow to stand 10-15 minutes.

Grill steaks about 4-5 minutes per side, until done as desired and fish flakes easily with a fork.

Meanwhile, combine mayonnaise, yogurt, zest of lime and remaining basil.

Blend well. Place salad greens in a mixing bowl.

Combine balsamic vinegar, oil, honey, salt and pepper, drizzle over greens and toss to coat well.

To serve, spread one side of each slice of toast with about 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise mixture and place, spread side up, on dinner plate.

Top with tuna steak, then about quarter of salad mixture.
