Fish simple seasoned with everyday spices and fried with amazing aroma of curry leaves. Serve hot with potato chips and salad.
Fish Roast Ingredients
- Whole fish 1
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Red chillies 4
- Cloves of garlic 6
- Ginger 1" piece
- Peppercorns 12
- Curry leaves 6
- Lemon 1
- Oil 60 ml
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric powder a pinch
Fish Roast Cooking Directions

Wash and clean the fish. Rub salt all over with it.

Rub ground spice all over and inside stomach of the fish, (cumin seeds, turmeric powder, chillies, garlic, ginger and pepper), and put aside.

Place a frying pan on the flame and add oil.

When hot, add the curry leaves and the prepared fish and cook both sides till done.

Care must be taken that the fish does not break.

Remove (when cooked) onto a dish, surround with potato chips and salad.

Before serving, squeeze fresh lime over the fish.
