Kerala Fish Molee - Fish is the most widely eaten meat and food in Kerala. Enjoy the recipe of popular fish curry of Kerala made in coconut milk.
Kerala Fish Molee Ingredients
- Any large fish (clean and cut into pieces) 750 gm
- Coconut milk 1 liter
- Medium onion 1
- Ginger 1" piece
- Cloves of garlic 4-5
- Green chillies 5
- Medium sized potatoes 3
- Turmeric powder 1/2
- Chopped green coriander 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil as needed
Kerala Fish Molee Cooking Directions

Clean and cut fish.

Divide the coconut milk in 3 portions.

Keep one portion aside.

Mix the remaining two portions together.

Slice onions, ginger, garlic and chillies.

Peel and cut the potatoes into pieces.

Heat oil and fry the onions till brown.

Add the turmeric powder, ginger, garlic, chillies and salt.

Fry for a while. Add the cubed potatoes and cook till soft.

Add the fish and one portion of coconut milk.
-
Cook till done. Add the 2 portions of coconut milk and bring to boil.

Add vinegar and remove from flame.
