We all are a big fan of fruit yogurt, but our usual bowl of fruit yogurt just has yogurt, cubed fruit and sugar in it. Now tryout fruit yogurt with a touch of Hyderabadi taste to it. Coriander, salt and cumin brings in an exceptional taste to this appetizer.
Spicy Fruit Yogurt Ingredients
Yogurt 4 cup
Banana 1
Apple 1
Orange 1
Mix Cocktail 1 can
Sugar 1 tsp
Raisin ½ cup
Corn flour 1 tsp
Milk 1 cup
White cumin ½ tsp
Black pepper ½ tsp (crushed)
Fresh coriander 1 tsp (chopped)
Lemon juice of 1
Rock salt (kala namak) as required
Salt as required
Spicy Fruit Yogurt Cooking Directions
Bring milk to a boil and add cornflour diluted in a little milk to it while stirring.
Keep stirring while the milk is simmering and the mixture thickens slightly.
Take it off the heat and cool.
Peel skin of orange and de-seed it.
If grapes are large, then slice them in halves and remove the seeds.
Now put all the fruits in a bowl, add lemon juice and sugar, mix well.
Now add yogurt with salt, rock salt, black pepper and milk mixture, mix well.
Soak raisin in water for 15 minutes and then drain and add to the fruits mixture, mix well.
Garnish it with green coriander and cumin.
Serve chilled.
