This traditional Irish recipe is well known European cuisine. A very fulfilling tasty, and healthy dish.
Irish Stew Ingredients
- Mutton 1/2 kg
- Salt 1 tsp
- Black pepper 1/2 tsp
- Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Soya sauce 1 tbsp
- Whole spices (cardamom 2 sticks,
- whole blck pepper 4-6,
- green cardamom 2)
- Water 4 cups
- Potatoes (cut into 8 pieces) 2
- Carrot 2
- Peas 1/2 cup
- Baby onions 10
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Flour 2 tbsp
- Milk 1 cup
Irish Stew Cooking Directions

In a pan put water, mutton, salt, soya sauce, vinegar, whole spices and soya sauce let it boil.

When 2 cup stock is left mutton is cooked now add potatoes and carrot cook for 10 minutes.

Dissolve flour in milk and add in mutton gradually, let it cook.

Boil peas for 5 minutes with addition of a pinch salt, a pinch soda bicarb and 1/2 tsp sugar.

Blanch boiled peas.

When mutton cooked add peas, baby onion and butter then let it cook for 15 minutes more.
