Stock or Yakhni is same thing. Mostly we use stock (Yakhni) in winter season. In this recipe you can learn how to make a basic but wonderful chicken stock (chicken yakhni) that forms the basis of a variety of dishes.
Stock (Yakhni) Ingredients
- Chicken bones 1 kg
- Water 25 to 30 cups
- Spring onion (chopped) 1
- Carrot (chopped) 1
- Ginger 2 inches piece
Stock (Yakhni) Cooking Directions

Cook All together over medium flame for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Cook till half of the water dries.

Drain, cool and use as required.

You can also freeze this stock for a long time.
