Murgh Lauki - Bottle gourd is simply the most refreshing vegetable. Grated bottle gourd is cooked with boneless chicken, tomatoes and curd, and finished with green chilies and fresh green coriander.
Murgh Lauki (Chicken and Bottle Gourd Curry) Ingredients
- Grated bottle gourd (Lauki) 1
- Julienne cut Chicken breast 2
- Sliced onion 1
- Curd 125 gram
- Tomato 1
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Crushed red chili 1 tbsp
- Crushed cumin seed 1 tbsp
- Chopped green chili 2
- Coriander as required
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Bay leaves 2
- Black cardamom 4
- Dried ginger powder (Sounth) 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
Murgh Lauki (Chicken and Bottle Gourd Curry) Cooking Directions

Fry the onion in oil till golden brown.

Add the chicken to it.

When chicken changes its color, add grated bottle gourd to it and cook on high heat for 2 minutes.

Then add all the other ingredients and cook on low flame.

When water dries, add in green chilies and coriander.

Murgh lauki is ready.

Serve hot with chapatti or naan and Enjoy!
